We are getting ready for the Holiday Season by filling the Copper and Caramel shop with lots of handmade Christmas cards and gift tags!
We want to spread a little holiday cheer by giving away this set of 3 gift tags! I made these with a wonderful stamp set from Papertrey Ink!
Each tag has its own festive sentiment but they use the same
colors and back ground. The back side of each tag has a spot for you
to write out the to and from.
For a chance to win these head over to the Copper and Caramel Facebook page and share our Facebook post with your friends and leave a comment saying you did so. We will announce the winner on Sunday (11/22). I hope you will join us and spread some holiday cheer with our gift tag giveaway!

Adding shimmer in unexpected places
Hello! Diana here with you today. I wanted to drop by and share a shaker card with you.
The best part about this shaker card is that it mixes the rustic buck and classic wreath with shiny gold confetti. Don't be afraid to take those leaps and use contrasting elements to pull together a beautiful contrasting card.
My challenge to you for your next card is to combine two elements that aren't usually used together.
Supplies: My Favorite Things Frame Die, Stampendous Deer Stamp, Pretty Pink Posh Gold Confetti, Copic X-Press It Foam Tape, Neenah Solar White 80 lb., Copics for coloring.

Card Sketch - November
Although we have the Etsy shop for our cards, one of our main ideas for having the Copper and Caramel site is to collectively inspire you to create. Making a card to send adds a level of warmth that a store-bought card just can't achieve.
To inspire you to start making cards, here is your first card sketch. A sketch is a template you begin with to help guide you on where to put the elements of your card.
This is the card Diana made using the sketch. The snowflakes represent the little circles. The elf is the larger circle area. She used a longer sentiment, but a shorter one would have worked just as well.
She used small snowflakes and white sequins to represent the small circles — remember to be creative when adapting a card to a sketch.
Now you try! If you make a card using the sketch, leave a link to it in the comments section. We'd love to see what you make.

Welcome to Copper and Caramel
Thank you for joining us for our brand new adventure!
If you know either of us (Diana and/or Sara) you know that we are always looking for something creative to get our hands on.
Introducing our new brand: Copper & Caramel!
Copper & Caramel was started as a way for us to work together on a fun project while being creative and sharing it with others.
The Copper & Caramel name came from a comment our sons made during a moms/sons trip this past summer — though we aren't the crime fighting ninjas/detectives they wanted us to be originally.
The Copper & Caramel Etsy Shop has many of our favorite handmade card designs for sale. Stop by and take a look at what we've been up to.
We also want to use this space to share creative card ideas and tutorials as we think of them. We'll be posting ideas, tips, tricks, industry info, etc.
If you love handmade cards or stamps, make sure to bookmark this space and visit often. Subscribe to the blog, follow us on Facebook, join us on Instagram, or favorite the Etsy shop.
We also want to share something you might be looking for, so message us with ideas or if you have a custom order you would like.
